Oly is a furniture company located in NYC focused on providing imaginative collections that still manage to feel accessible.
The thought behind the mark was to convey the natural feel I constantly saw throughout the product line. Coral center pieces, lamps standing atop natural looking branches. When you walked through their showroom, you got the feeling that many of their pieces were plucked straight from the environment.
So naturally I drew some deer antlers. My proudest achievement.
Designing textures from natural materials (wood grain, stone, water) that could work across packaging, web, and print. The challenge was capturing organic complexity while keeping them versatile enough for different applications.
